Cheese sauce for lasagne

Comfort food!

This is how my mom used to make her lasagne and it’s my fav! Adding a cheese sauce layer makes it so creamy and delicious, I’m literally drooling thinking about it LOL

For the cheese sauce:

• melt 2-3 tbsp of butter in a saucepan

• add 2 tbsp of flour and whisk for a minute or so

• add 1/2 cup whole milk and whisk until thickens

• add another 1/4-1/2 cup of milk depending on thickness

• add 1/2 cup of fresh grated parmesan cheese

• add salt & pepper & whisk until it’s desired thickness

• pour over your lasagne as a cheese layer in the middle
