Elderberry Syrup

 

Hey loves!

Here is how I make my Elderberry Syrup! This is something we drink every single morning as a preventative through cold & flu season. It stores in the fridge for up to a month & in the freezer for up to a year. This recipe makes enough for us to keep in the fridge to use & we just make more as we need it. Double the recipe if needed.

1 tbsp for kids & 2 tbsp for adults

What you’ll need:
- 2 cups of dried elderberries
- 4 cups of water
- 1-2 tsp of ground ginger/couple slices of ginger
- 1-2 tsp of ground cinnamon/couple cinnamon sticks
- 1/4 cup of lemon juice
- 3/4 cup of honey
